CEO Marko Ahtisaari joined a panel of thought leaders at Sonar+D this week to discuss the Open Music Initiative and its efforts to use cutting-edge technology to solve issues in the music industry. Among the discussion was our development of music as precision medicine, and the potential for emerging tech like artificial intelligence (AI) to a create paradigm shift in the way we manage health and wellness goals using music.
Chief Product and Technology Office Yadid Ayzenberg spoke at the Open Music Summer Lab about how we are leveraging bots and music information retrieval services to build health focused experiences of music. Yadid explained how we have used music listening behavior insights and customer feedback to fine-tune features in Sync Music Bot for Slack, a music bot that learns from you to personalize music playlists to support work, relaxation and exercise. The students in this program represent the future of music, health and science innovators and we were honored to have the opportunity to share our vision for music as precision medicine with them.
